Mayfair offers the best teaching
techniques in the art of Dance,
the dedication to the cultural development
of your children, through the proper
exposure in the atmosphere of the
arts, not as just a commercial establishment,
but as a permanent contribution
to your children and the community
in which they grow.
The Mayfair Performing
Co. originated for those students
with a strong desire and commitment
to performance. The Mayfair Performing
Co. provides scholarships to these
students. The Performing Co. has touched
the lives of many through performances
in recitals, community events, television
appearances, cotillions, and the Bud
Biliken Parade. |

Mayfair Students have performed at the Chicago Theater, Medinah
Temple, UIIC Pavilion, Chicago Hilton
& Towers, and the Black Womans
Expo. Mayfair students have won numerous
awards and have placed first in numerous
dance competitions and talent shows
throughout the years. Mayfair students
have participated in McDonalds Commercials,
the opening ceremonies for the World
Cup, and the Paralympiads. |

They
have starred on the Cosby Show, and
on Broadway in such shows as 42nd
street, been in movies such. as the
Blues Brothers, the Cotton Club and
have been and are principle dancers
with Alvin Alley & the Dance Theater
of Harlem and because of the gifts
they have received while at Mayfair
they have excelled in all walks of
life.
The Mayfair Performing
Co. specializes in the performances
of children and young adults in the
areas of Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop
& Gospel. Auditions for the Performing
Company are held annually. |
